Every time I wake up I notice that my nose has become bigger and my eyes seem to be popping out. Anyone can notice the change and tell that I have just woke up.
How do I avoid this bigger-nose state? And how do get my nose back to its normal size?
I think you are telling porkies.
Another question:
what does “telling porkies” mean?
Telling Porkie Pies = Lies
Porky Pies = lies (Cockney Rhyming Slang). I think **Chez Guevara

Is comparing you to Pinocchio.
Anyway… blood and body fluids tend to pool in the lowest parts of your body, under the influence of gravity, and this is not entirely overcome by the effect of your circulatory systems; when you’re lying down, the fluids tend to get more evenly distributed than they are when you’re standing. More fluid in a body part means it will swell a bit.
Get a bigger pillow, sleep on your back, …?
