My two cats.

Sam is sleeping on the couch on one side of the room, and Momo is sleeping on the ottoman on the other side of the room.

For seemingly no reason at all, Momo abruptly wakes up, casually walks over to where Sam is still fast asleep, and then proceeds to give Sam two healthy swats to the face. After which, Momo then retreats back to his ottoman and goes right back to sleep as if nothing has happened.

Meanwhile, Sam has his head reared up with his ears turned backwards trying to figure out what the hell just happened.

That must have been one hell of a dream Momo!

Momo chased away those annoying, invisible Ceiling Shrikes before they could descend on Sam’s noggin. Show some gratitude!

(Of course, you wouldn’t have Ceiling Shrikes if there weren’t cats in the house, but whatta ya gonna do?)

Maybe Momo is dreaming about being a dog.

oh yeah. My alpha cat would always just whack another cat just for being in his space. He stands there for the longest time after the other cat walks up and sits there. A few minutes later, WHACK. That’ll teach him!
