We have taken some tiny GPS units that communicate via SIM cards and attached them to some of the bikers so that we can track them in Googlemaps. (right this minute we seem to be in a dead spot, as we haven’t moved in a while.)
if the ATOC goes smoothly we may be invited to do the Tour De France.
Well we had some technical glitches yesterday - the GPS units had trouble communicating for a variety of reasons. We have ideas on how to correct this and we’re hoping today’s race will be more interesting.
Today’s race starts at 1:00 EST.
This thread got a lot less interesting once I was awake enough to realize the title wasn’t “Bikini race fans…”
Still, I’ll be interested to see if and how the setup works.

I unfortunately had a pre-surgery Doctor’s appt. and did not get to see how we performed today.
However, my boss was as thrilled today as he was depressed yesterday and I’m told that, except for some dead spots in the cel phone coverage, the site looked great all day.
I’ll be able to watch all day tomorrow, so I’ll report back on how well we do.
