Nothing is more easily faked than blogs, but I’m waiting for someone to tell me that http://billclintondailydiary.blogspot.com/ is fake. Because it has got to be. There’s no way that man could post on that thing so often, nor could he possibly write what is written on there. But whoever is faking it is doing a pretty good job keeping up with his schedule, if it’s a fake.
So… what’s the deal?
Hoax.
But you knew that. Misspelled and impolitic postings about the Schiavo case on the front page?
You don’t have to dig very deep to know that there’s no way Bill Clinton would post that – even if the site had a dedicated domain, etc.
Looks nice though. A first glance said “Sure, why not.”
LarryMudd, your link goes to a registration page for something called FairfaxDigital.
Huh?
postcards , his link is to a newspaper site that requires registration. You can either register, or do as many do and avail yourself of the wonderful site, Bug Me Not. If you use FireFox, there’s even a handy extension that makes bug me not a simple right click function. Very useful.
Well, that is the damnedest thing. Didn’t have to register last night. I never register for news – and I don’t use bugmenot either. I delude myself into thinking that one more hit on the server logs that shows someone hitting the registration page and then never returning might encourage them to change their policy.
Anyway, here’s a link to Google’s cache of the article, if you don’t want to jump through any hoops.
