Wow. I want to go all outraged over O’Reilly, or gleeful that he’s embarrassed himself so, but for some reason, I just can’t. I’m too busy shaking my head. It’s just too bizarre.

I read that many Obama supporters at the rally were asking Billo about falafels and loofahs and whatnot. The man is a walking punchline.
Was he drunk? I don’t know what happened between him and the “staffer,” but when Bill repeatedly yelled “hey Senator” while he could see Obama was with other people, that looked pathetic. I did that once, I tried to get the attention of a celebrity who was tied up with other people, when I was about 12. I didn’t shout though.
I hear Bill doesn’t like being around sharpened silver objects.

A member of the Free Republic website and forum. They’re famous for being blindly conservative in the face of facts.
There are two oddly polarized Freeper threads on this. In one, everyone agrees that O’Reilly is a dick, though it mostly seems to be from some apparent slight the site received from him at an earlier time. Little mention is made of Obama. In the second everyone blindly agrees that O’Reilly must be in the right, and that the Obama campaign likely staged the whole thing for attention. Neither thread seems aware of the other’s existence.
In both cases, the discourse is sub-literate with most posts contributing nothing more than a new way to stretch a pun on the name of one of the parties involved. Makes me appreciate what we have here.

Seriously though… every once in a while something happens that is so funny by itself that the Daily Show just shows the clip, then cuts to Jon Stewart who says, “Really. The jokes just write themselves,” then they move on. This was great timing for such an event.
