In my more objective moments, I’m capable of admitting that O’Reilly, despite the fact that I disagree with him on many, many things, is actually a populist more than a conservative. Though he leans to the right, he’s not a die-hard, God-and-Country, go-to-meetin’-Sunday-or-go-to-Hell conservative.
In other moments, the fact that he looks so much like Pat Buchanan short-circuits my rational brain centers and makes me viscerally dislike him.
Poor guy.
