When the “Innocent Man” LP was hot, two songs were remixed as extended play (EP) versions. But, I could never find them in record stores. The songs were “Uptown Girl” and “Tell her About It”. Any clue where I might the EP versions find them today?
All I see on a Google search are youtube and file sharing sites.

I did a bit of hunting and I couldn’t find any specifically called “EP versions” but there was a mix of ‘Tell Her About It’ that was on the 12" single called the “Special Version”, about two minutes longer than the regular edit. It doesn’t appear to have been released on any Billy Joel CDs but there are many compilations out there that collect 12" mixes from the 80s, so it may be on one of those.
As far as I could see there wasn’t an extended mix of ‘Uptown Girl’ released on the single (the Google search in the post above me is mostly full of versions of the Westlife cover) but that’s not to say one doesn’t exist - it may have been for promotional use only, i.e. only DJs and radio stations were able to obtain it.
