OMG. My take on all this: Why would anyone even care?

But I do love the fact that statistical analysis is being used. It dovetails nicely with the issue of Chess Life I got in the mail Friday, which had an article explaining how the online chess site, Chess.com, identifies and removes players who cheat by utilizing computer resources to decide what moves to play. Basically, it relies upon a statistical analysis of millions of computer generated moves vs. human generated moves. Same concept, really.
