I can’t find the exact statisitcs for Alesse, but all the types of BCPs in my formulary have listed net prices for 3 months supply of between £1.70(Ovysmen) and £14.70 (Yasmin). Three months of Evra is £23.23.

Yes, there is a Birth Controll troubleshooting handbook for this EXACT sort of thing. I saw it one time online but have never been able to find it again since. My NP used the print version to help me decide on the new type when I changed my BCP. I’m pretty sure most doctors and nurses that deal with BCP are aware of this publication.
OK, I’m not sure, but it might be a section of the Nurse’s Drug Handbook. Or {i]David Drug Guide for Nurses*?
