A friend asked me a question earlier today…“What’s this with you and stupid people?”
Well, this afternoon when I went to pick up my dog, Brownie, from the groomer, I found a woman that DEFINES stupid.
This morning when I dropped Brownie off, they told me that they wouldn’t groom him today because he was overdue on his shots. He had his annual shots last year on May 30, today is June 3. (He had an appointment with his regular vet this coming Friday) The “hospital manager” aka “Bitch-O-Rama” made the statement to one of the employees that they would accept the dogs the entire month the shots were due but after that they wouldn’t.
The little employee babe came back and graciously offered to do the grooming and to also do the annual shots (increasing their revenue on my sale by 300%), OR, I could wait until the end of June to groom him. (Not an option - he was shaggy!) After calling my regular vet, I reluctantly agreed to let them do the shots. The fact that they didn’t bother to tell me this when they scheduled the appointment 6 weeks ago leads me to believe they were just in it for the sale.
This afternoon when I went to pick him up, I talked to “Bitch-O-Rama” about their policy. I explained that I could not understand why they wouldn’t accept my dog 4 days over the annual vaccination but that they would happily accept a dog that was 30 days over due. (Remember, she said that they would take them the entire month that they were due).
Well, I made a discovery. Stupid people don’t like it when you point out to them that they are stupid! Here I thought I was doing her a favor by showing her the inconsistency is her “policy”. 
Fucking Bitch-O-Rama was so pissed off, accusing ME of being rude, that she invited me to take my business elsewhere! haha!
Happily, I say. Happily!
I guess I AM rude in the face of such STUPIDITY.
