I am impatiently awaiting September 15th! 
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…The Talisman is my all-time favorite book ever!

I’m excited, and kindof wary. Are they still gonna do the mother=queen line, or will it take an entirely different turn? I wasn’t too impressed with Dreamcatcher; I’m hoping the new book isn’t too artsy in King’s contribution.
teppei, I know what you mean exactly. I’m scared I’m going to get all excited to read it, and then be let down in a big way when it sucks. Kind of like how I felt after waiting 20 years for Star Wars Episode One, and getting, well, the disappointment that was Episode One.
I have faith in King though… I didn’t hate Dreamcatcher, I actually found parts of it reminiscent of *It[/it] and The Body. I think he does some of his best work writing through a child’s perspective, and hopefully Jack won’t be too much older in the sequel than he was in the original.

The Talisman was one of my favorite books. I can’t wait for the sequel!
