Am I the only one who opened this thread because they saw ‘black metal’ and is now disappointed/grossed-out?
Yeah, going by the reactions here, I’m really glad I only checked this thing out on Wikipedia.

While I can see still photos being 'shopped I’m wondering how the videos of that exposed bone effect could be photoshopped? And no, I’m not linking to the videos or suggesting anyone google them, but suffice to say I’ve seen a few of them and they show such people with the massive tissue damage, including one where a severely damaged leg is amputated without need of anesthesia due to lack of sensation in the lower leg.
[grossness warning]
In said video the flesh on the man’s leg from just under the knee on down had slumped like an old sock, leaving about half the lower legs bones completely bare of flesh so it had already self-amputated to considerable degree. I suppose it could be some sort of special effect but there were no artful angles involved. I suppose they could have used someone already missing a leg, applied some sort of prosthesis, then amputated that. It looked quite convincing to me, but hey, I admit I’ve been fooled before
Do you have any evidence that some of these photos are 'shopped? If so, I’d be very interested. Or is it that you’re hoping it’s photoshopped because that makes the world a less scary place? I’ve seen some rather horrific medical photos in the past with… well, let’s just say people can be up and walking around with absolutely horrific wounds. Or at least sitting up and conscious.
Nope. [vomiting smiley goes here]
Not having seen the movie, I’d be willing to bet a sawbuck that this is a manufactured scene. The things mentioned occurred separately, but were edited together to imply that he was injecting the fetus. Just my cynical nature.
