I’m not Canadian, but I have to vouch for Unibroue. However, I fear I won’t be able to do this much longer. They were bought out by Sapparo and have cut back on the beers they distribute to the US. The fact that Sapporo also bought out Anchor Brewing and promptly ran the company into the ground does not have me feeling optimistic about Unibroue’s future.

Seriously, good beer recommendations for Toronto, and especially in Markam, would be appreciated. Nor do I think that Canada is the 51st State, nor would any of the provinces or territories benefit from becoming part of the US, nor is it “Canadia” despite y’all being “Canadians.”

I really have no idea where a good beer can be found in Markham, I live in Calgary (which does, indeed, suck). I have no issues with your opinions on our libations but Trump’s 51st state business isn’t as funny as it should be.
