Blood donation question

What are the names of the equipment used when the Red Cross is drawing blood in a blood drive? Is there any specific names for the needles, tubes, etc.?

Also, I seem to recall that there’s some sort of medical equipment that can be embedded so that IVs and the like can be taken without further use of a needle. Is there, and what would it be called?

Thanks.

On your second question, there is a thing called a Hickman catheter. It’s (from the link) “a narrow, plastic–like, hollow tube which is tunneled under the skin and placed in one of the veins just under the collarbone” and is used to administer medicine, draw blood, and administer IVs without having to continually stick the person.

I think the more general term for something like that is a “stint”, right?
