Blood type

Is o negative blood also rh negative? What about o positive?

In common use, yes, “O negative” means O, Rh negative.

But, ‘Rh’ stands for Rhesus (factor) and is comprised of several components. It is the ‘D’ component which is negative (or positive) when you say someone in Rh negative (or Rh positive), which as noted, is usually abbreviated as just negative (or positive).

The full set of Rh factors includes D, C, and E (with d, c, and e being the respective ‘negative’ equivalents). Look here.

Common usage has Rh synonymous with D which is not literally the case.

It can happen that a person is D negative but C and/or E positive. In common parlance, you’d still call them ‘Rh negative’ (i.e. based on their negative D status), even though they’re positive for C and/or E.

O + is Rh positive and O - is Rh negative. Positive and Negative typically refer to your Rh factor.
