…or at least the strips currently running on Yahoo are.
I’ve got all the collections, but there are several up on Yahoo right now I’ve never seen before.
Who are these two folks? Are they meant to be a parody of someone who is in the news when the strip ran, or are they just two characters that didn’t make the cut into the collections?

I think it’s a riff on Ted Turner, who at the time was expanding TBS, owning sports teams and winning the America’s Cup yacht race. I have a lot of the collections and I think that series just didn’t make the cut.
That’s the owner of the local TV station and his son.
The only person who comes to mind is Ted Turner since he owns so much cable TV and is into yachting.
Ah. In my ignorance, I was unaware that Ted was into yachting.
