All is get is that “ethnic groups” will pay a 10X markup for freshly killed, blow torched mutton. Are outdoor gas and charcoal grills illegal in London?

As I understand it, the problem is that the slaughter is not in accordance with Britian’s hygienic standards and is deemed not fit for human consumption, since it is smoked/torched with the skin still attached, or removed then re-attached.

This article is equally vague on who the “ethnic groups” are, but since it involves goat meat, my hunch would be West Indians.
