Anyone ever successfully gotten a package delivery through this company?
Hell, anyone ever even HEARD of it before?
I bought something through eBay - and just got a shipment notice from eBay. The tracking says it’s being shipped through this company - which I had literally never heard of before.
Did some googling and it doesn’t look good - loads of reports of things not delivered and misreported as having been delivered (in one case someone saw the truck come by - and drive away without making any attempt to deliver). Trustpilot reviews are horrible. Admittedly, most people only post if something bad has happened - but there is virtually no information on this company and the anecdotes are not reassuring.
Their home page proudly announces “Not all couriers provide an easy-to-access public tracking facility.
Our mission is to bridge that gap and to provide accurate tracking of such parcels whilst maintaining the privacy of the consignment parties.
If you’d like to see tracking of your parcels on this site please get in touch.” (um… WTF??? FedEx, UPS, USPS all offer public tracking).
The “tracking” such as it is says it has arrived at a carrier facility, and that it has departed a carrier facility. The nifty progress bar goes about 90% of the way across the screen suggesting that hey, we’re gonna be there ANY MINUTE NOW.
I just the other day got a delivery from them. Small, cheap purchase. I got an email it’d been delivered but didn’t see it. My neighbor got it. But there’s been confusion between he & I before, the house # are wonky on the mountain.
Well, as bizarre as the whole company / non-web-presence seems to be, it turns out I did get my package today.
I haven’t opened it yet, but it appears to be about the right size for what I ordered.
Their tracking is bizarre. We’re all so used to being able to get actual location information from UPS / USPS / FedEx, but this one just had “picked up”, “in transit”, “delivered”. It could have come from across the country or across the street.
Hey, I think I may have figured this out. Mama Zappa, was what you ordered on Ebay something you may have been able to find in your area had you wanted to drive around and search? Something small-ish??
Nope - it was actually a tumbling composter. Those have become scarce and high priced - the one I got lists at 129.00 on the manufacturer’s website, while it had generally been retailing for 80 bucks or thereabouts.
Home Depot listed it for that price - but sold out while I was looking at it. Target had it for well over 200 bucks as did Amazon. It was available on eBay for anywhere between 130 and 250 dollars. I actually got it there for just over 130.
The vendor was somewhere in Arizona, I think.
