BME Pain Olympics

What exactly is BME Pain Olympics? It has reactions on Youtube like Two Girls One Cup. So what exactly happens. I have the impression from another thread on this board that it a guy gelding himself or something. I do not want to watch the video, can someone give a play by play?

Self-castration, apparently a couple people, and very graphic. Not going to catch me looking for it.

BME = Body Modification Extreme. Online community dedicated to radical concepts of, well, extreme body modifications. Take piercings, scarifications and the such and take it to the next level of self-mutilation, from brandings and tribal-style deformations (lips, ears) to outright castrations passing through such nice stuff as tongue/penis forkings. Seeing as to how some of the cross-referenced videos include such helpful clues as “dickchop” and “hatchet vs. genitals”, I think we can make educated guesses…

I saw some stills and read a description, and had to go lie down. Seriously.

That said, I’d be surprised if it was real. Didn’t appear to be enough blood.

That guy in the UK whose ex-GF pulled off his left testicle with her bare hand didn’t even notice at first it was missing, let alone bleed copiously. So I’m guessing there’s not a lot of blood involved.

Guys tie off their balls and/or dick and go to town with a hatchet and/or knife. Looked real enough to me. Cutting the head of a penis off and showing it to the camera is enough to make ANY man wince a little.

I think my genitals just tried to crawl back up the inguinal canal…thanks.

I don’t think I could ever get myself to watch the actual video, but…

…there are video stills? Where?

This reaction video provides a (surprisingly laid-back) description along with some editorial comments.

Is it legal to show that kind of thing on the Internet? I’m not talking about two girls/one cup, but about actual mutilation?

I don’t get it, guy cuts the head off his penis with an axe for internet fame, then what does he do for the rest of his life when he has to piss?

Bah! Details, details!

That may have just been the pain he didn’t notice, though, and not the blood. I know a couple of people who have been shot and stabbed who didn’t feel the pain right away, but did feel the blood and wondered why they were suddenly wet. The testicle one wasn’t the one I wondered about the blood on so much as the penis one. The guy’s alleged penis is tied off which might prevent exsanguination, but wouldn’t prevent bleeding altogether. I’ve seen minor genital piercings in that just went through the skin and there’s usually a modest amount of blood; cutting completely through the corpus cavernosum ought to bleed like the proverbial stuck pig from the get-go. This guy barely seems to bleed at all compared to what he should.

The hatchet job, the part where the guy (don’t read if queasy, seriously)

pops his own testicles out also made me wonder as it kept me awake last night. The testicles are sensitive to pain, to put it mildly, and the real BME guys tend to eschew such wussified concepts as medication and anesthesia. That guy would be in oodles of pain, oceans of it, pass out kind of pain. I don’t know that one could successfully perform that particular surgical procedure on oneself. My guess is fake, although I readily admit that’s partially because I want it to be.

But if you’re talking major, MAJOR masochism here–in other words, a major psychological dysfunction–wouldn’t they be glorying in the pain? The greater the pain, the greater the pleasure, isn’t that, logically, how it works?

Have not watched the videos, but aren’t they doing it to themselves? I’ve never heard that any form of **self-**mutilation was illegal. Where’s the line going to be drawn, legally, between piercing a penis, circumsizing a penis, and cutting off a penis?

And how would it be illegal to show, say, oneself circumsizing oneself on the Internet?

Yeah, but yeesh, there’s gotta be a line. Even the world’s greatest capacity for pain couldn’t take their own appendix out. I mean, I could be wrong, but I hope not.
