I got to sing “Celebrated Summer” with him at one of his shows because his voice was shot and he asked if anybody in the audience knew the words. I was drunk and couldn’t hear anything, so my singing was worse than it normally is (which is bad). And I was so excited I forgot to take off my backpack, so I looked like a bigger nerd than usual (which is a lot). Still, a highlight of my life.

A fantastic band. I wonder if the master tapes are still out there somewhere, quite a lot of their stuff could do with being cleaned up a bit. Although the very trebly production is part of the attraction I guess.
