The video has been taken down because of copyright issues.
Bottom line is that Oliver says that there will be further comment later. I assume it will be in the form of said amicus filing. This should be fun.
Well, he did say that Mr. Nutterbutter is coming back, at least. Perhaps we can also get an opinion from the Doggie Supreme Court.

The first 5 minutes is in here (probably briefly). The only reference to the case is the first 30 seconds, and the rest of the episode is on guns in schools. I’m sure they didn’t want to usurp an excellent (and probably already finished) episode with what will be hilarious but more trivial. But I still can’t wait for the victory laps and gloating episode.
I suspect that there are a couple of other factors at work as well:

[li]Murray’s attorneys have 30 days to appeal. I doubt that they will, but it wouldn’t surprise me if HBO’s counsel advised waiting until the end of the appeal window before gloating too much, and,[/li][li]A LWT-style epic response to the dismissal doesn’t just happen overnight. It takes a long time to coordinate the schedules of Tom Hanks, Industrial Light and Magic, Judd Apatow, and Mr. Nutterbutter. :D[/li][/ol]
