Body-shamed dancing man gets outpouring of support

And a dance party, a Dodgers game, and more:

At least there are some decent people left in the world.

The pic of him post-shaming is like, one of the saddest things I’ve seen all year.

As a fat person who loves to dance - I fully support this endeavor!

Sean O’Brien totally fucking rocks!

And the people who initiated that Kickstarter and helped out with the party also totally fucking rock!

Go, Dancing Man Sean!! When you see the bad side of the world, it’s always wonderful to see the good side too. I’m so glad he’s still dancing and not letting the haters get him down.

That’s cool I guess, though I’m not sure what the big deal is. I’ve been to maybe 20 basketball games and they almost always show fat people dancing on the big screen. Most people seem to get a kick out of it.

Most of those dudes are shirtless and have their chests painted. This guy seems a wee more dignified, at least. Plus he’s getting exercise, it’s not like he’s stuffing cheetos into his face.

The big deal is that somebody didn’t get a kick out of it. They made fun of him to his face and took pics of him dancing and then being upset after they shamed him into not dancing anymore. Then they posted the pics online to get more folks to laugh at him.

And then he got the last laugh.

That’s not the deal at all.
Here are the details:

Emma Roid
Cassandra Fairbanks
Krista Vitt

Pharrell Williams wanted to play, but must have had a conflict and sent a video message. Moby DJed for free. I think the party was all women…and Dancing Man.

This is what pisses me off: You are making fun of him for being fat while he is doing an activity designed to make him less fat.

What the fuck is wrong with people?

I’m glad he got some support at least.

Finally, a successor for Gene Gene the Dancing Machine!

‘Sweatin’ to the Oldies’ with Richard Simmons is an activity designed to make people feel less fat. This guy was just out having a good time. I doubt he was thinking about feeling the burn. And good for him and everyone who turned out in support.
