Bolding usernames

Perhaps [sub]agiantdwarf [/sub]would prefer things this way?

Works for me.

Personally I do it so morons like agiantdwarf shall not miss my insults when they skim the page.

I just type in bold all the time, because I’m a total whore for attention.

agiantdwarf
It’s just the way we do things around here man.

Don’t you mean Fuck off?

I hear she’s a babe.

Hmm… agiantdwarf… because we can. And it really does increase your odds of carnal knowledge at Dopefests.

Mr2001 does this knowledge come from personal expierence?

To boldly go where no one has gone before …

:stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t think agiantdwarf is coming back. The OP has the stink of a drive-by pitting, in which a (usually new) member thinks up some trivial complaint just so they can have the excitement of starting a thread in the pit.

However, I’ll still answer the OP anyway: I type usernames in bold because it significantly increases the amount of formatting tags in any given message and thus the risk of a typo which will produce an embarassing expanse of bold following a [b/] tag. This allows me to live on the thrilling edge of danger. Truly, you haven’t lived until you’ve typed out a response mentioning three users with names bolded, and then submitted it before you can check your formatting. The adrenaline rush has a kick like a mule.

I used to do it all the time purely as a matter of habit because everyone else did it. However, my declining health makes it harder to type many days (especially that “reach” to [ and ]), and thus I have been reducing the number of times I use the bracket keys.

If you keep bolding my name like that, you just might find out first hand…

Wait a minute, you can get laid at a dopefest?:smack:

Of course, aGiaNtDwarf, it could be worse.

I will never try that again. Maybe.

Oh, really Mr2001?

Whu—huh? Not to hijack, but “decling health?” What’s up, hon?

I’m quite sure he was using hyperbole, Eve. I could be wrong though.

Er… “she”

I am sooooo going to the wrong Dopefests.

Don’t you mean “Oh for Christ’s sake. It’s the custom over here and it makes for clarity. Notice that it’s not required.”?
