Any Straight Dope? 
I think it’ll be back once the baseball playoffs are over. I’ve seen a healthy amount of promos for it.
It’s been picked up for a full season. Back after baseball.
I think “Bones” is the principal series that Fox is pushing during the baseball playoffs. Along with “Fatal Instinct”.
But so far they haven’t shown the same promo often enough that you can pick up a catch phrase:
For example:
2004 - House - “You’re risking a patient’s life!”
2003 - Skin - “His father is the district attorney!”
2001 - Boston Public - “Are you some kind of a teacher?” “Are you some kind of a student?”
Eh, it lost me when the geeky guy said that all the flesh-eating cockroaches had names.
No, they were very explicit in their announcements for this and one other series that they were promoting quite heavily, that it will be back after the post-season baseball games. On the last episode before the playoffs, they specified a date when it would return for the next episode, though I don’t remember what that date was.
Bones will be back on November first. I hate baseball already, and the fact that it has preempted The OC for weeks isn’t endearing it to me any :mad:
Fox has, amazingly, ordered a full season of Bones. And I say this with some distress, because I really enjoyed seeing David Boreanaz back on t.v. Alas, the writing made me cringe one time too many.
