When she was young, she caught a laryngitis and was advised by her doctors to stop speaking and singing for a few weeks or months. But given her personality, she couldn’t follow that advice and “ruined” her voice, which in the end became her trademark. She insisted she never smoked in her life.
That’s some seriously hysterical stuff right there.
As a huge Billy Joel fan, this is disqualifying for me.
I kind of love the idea of a spouse who’s a fan of every other Billy Joel song, but gets disqualified for not having heard that one.
