I read a book last year i believe was about New York City in WW2. There was a section that compared the fire departments of New York City and Tokyo. It showed how the New York City department was better organized. I know the book is not Helluva Town by Richard Goldstein or Victory City by John Strausbaugh. I have no idea how current the book would be. Any clues would be helpful. Thank you.
