Book: Year Zero, by Rob Reid

Loved this book.

From his Wiki page:

In July 2012, Random House/Del Rey published Reid’s third book, Year Zero, a work of science fiction.[9] The plot revolves around alien cultures coming into contact with Earth music. The resulting fines and penalties from copyright infringement have bankrupted the whole universe. Humans suddenly own everything—and the aliens are not amused.

The book left open a few questions that lead me to believe that there will be a sequel. Anyone heard if he’s got anything in the works? This was a perfect quick read while sitting on a beach for a three day camping trip to Baja. I’d love to plan another trip around the next installment if there is one.

I read the book, and didn’t really feel like it needed a sequel though I could certainly imagine there’s room for one.

Funny though, I hadn’t heard of this one, only read it because it showed up on some list at the library. You’re the first person I’ve heard mention it.
