Just to vent off the last possible steam I can cook up on this topic, I think that attitude is endemic to almost anyone who deals with semi-sophisticated workloads that are handled by data entry or other under trained drones.
Classify that under, “A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.”
I personally like to know why adjusting the bad debt accounts is a bad thing, but, to mix my metaphors, I’m probably beating the dead choir.
