So, my sis got her first Mac two days ago, and I just woke up to find an email that she already crashed it trying to install bootcamp or something. She’s not the kind of person to remain calm. All’s lost, as far as she’s concerned.
I’m in Taiwan, so I can’t be there to help her (I don’t use a Mac, but my wife does, and has never had a problem).
Are there any good books or websites out there for Mac newbies? She’s not really very computer savvy in general. Average at best (I mean, she didn’t even know that Firefox has add-ons!).
Any recommendations?

I highly recommend that she join a users group - there is one in Taipei - http://www.frostyplace.com/
I recommend Mac OS X Leopard: The Missing Manual by David Pogue.
Apple’s Mac 101 is what AppleCare sent me because I keep calling about stupid stuff and complaining because I don’t know what’s on this stupid iMac so I don’t even know what to Google. Having said all that, I plan to continue to call AppleCare because I paid for AppleCare and I’m going to get my money’s worth, dammit! Did Sis buy AppleCare? I’d recommend it. For desktop machines it’s not all that expensive. AppleCare probably could assist with Boot Camp, too, since it’s an Apple product.
