I just now finished reading The Da Vinci Code after having it strongly recommended to me by several friends. I found it enormously entertaining, a real page-turner, with plenty of intriguing mysteries, riddles, and clever twists. And a heaping helping of hooey about religion, the Church, etc. that I knew better than to take seriously.
Before that I read How To Be Good by Nick Hornby; I’m about halfway through one of John Mortimer’s Rumpole books; and I just started on a book of letters by Robertson Davies (after finishing one by Isaac Asimov).
