Comic strips that are funny to me:
Boondocks
Big Nate
Zits
Baby Blues (sometimes)
Foxtrot (now that the Post is finally running it)
Baldo
Cutis (occasionally)
I think that’s it.

I loved the whole Moon Valley/Moon Maid thing in Dick Tracy.
It was as stupid as stupid could be…but I loved it! (It was as close to science fiction as you could get in the “mainstream” those days!)
What did you think of Sternecky and Doyle’s “Walt Kelly’s Pogo?” I thought it was pretty darned good, remarkably close to Kelly’s original vision, with a drawing style that was a first-rate knock of of his lovely, lovely art. I subscribed to the local paper the day it started…and dropped it the day they dropped it.
(They replaced it with “Pickles.” Agh.)

BLASPHEMY, widdershins! Utter blasphemy! Burn him at the stake! No one dares speak ill of Zits.
Wow. My blasphemy habit has bled over into the comic pages. Cool.
I’ve seen Get Fuzzy a few times online and in out of town papers, it’s decent but I can’t see it becoming everyday reading for me.
Baldo is like the Everybody Loves Raymond of comic strips to me. I like every character, except Baldo. It’s a cute strip, but a little too cute for me. But Gracie is one of the better characters I’ve seen in the comics in a long time.
