Im here in TX, temporarily thank goodness!, and can see that Hispanic population will soon outnumber white and other ethnic groups… so i guess border patrol w/respect to this state doesn’t mean much? totally ineffective? True many TX hispanics are natural citizens, but WOW, it’s hard not recognizing the multitude that are not and I’ve yet to read, or hear about authorities arresting and deporting them–is this due to Homeland Security’s priority of seeking REAL terrorists?
I’d place my money on employers looking for cheap labor whom they can pay substandard wages and intimidate with threats to report them to the INS.
Wise bet. Better to keep them around and exploit them.
Leaving aside, for the moment, the OP’s apparently mystical ability to identify, without himself even being a native to the region, people who are illegal aliens, is there a debate here? Or was this intended as an actual General Question regarding INS priorities or, perhaps, a poll of opinions better suited to IMHO?
I read in Time magazine a while back that 3 million cross the Texas border every year and that about 1 million are caught and sent back.
So, I guess that even though you may not have seen it, it does occur about a third of the time.
