Boston Legal 11/6

<fart> “Denny Crane.”

Oh dear God, that was pure gold. I damn near fell off my chair.

And the woman that Alan defended got acquitted, Denny is being sued for firing a fat employee, and Jerry met a female version of himself.

:frowning:

No one else is watching??

Denny was in rare form in this ep. <fart> DENNY CRANE!!! Absolutely hilarious.

I did not miss Shirley in this one. Maybe she will be around less…let’s hope. I’m so tired of the “everyone wants Shirley” and the “I’m going to fire you Denny” plotlines.

I’m still wondering what they did with Paul?!! (Odo from ST: DS9)

I thought AuntiePam would have been in here by now…

I loved the loving and bickering on the balcony too.

“Let’s review. Winner, winner, loser, loser. Off you go now.”

William Shatner absolutely makes me die from laughter. And regardless of what people have said about his acting ability, the man has actually made me forget he is Captain Kirk. Anyone who can reinvent themselves after being such a TV ICON as Captain freaking Kirk has my vote for stellar actor.

The “fattie” case may bring me back next week, but Alan’s rationalization for defending a truly heinous client (and his specious, thoroughly unconvincing closing) made this ep a serious buzzkill. Larroquette? Wasted again (though I didn’t miss Bergen one iota). I was hoping for some kind of nice twist out of this one, but a simple unironic Not Guilty? Blech.

I didn’t watch this episode and probably won’t. I checked in at TWOP to see how Alan’s case came out, and it ticked me off that Mare Winningham was acquitted. I’m just not in the mood for vengeance these days, and I can’t drum up any sympathy for her.

Where’s the cranky smiley? Because I’m cranky. Earl and The Office better be good tonight, or I’ll be cranky tomorrow too.

It would be interesting if she was killed by the mother of the guy she killed.

Brian

Hmm. I actually felt the complete opposite about it. I didnt find her to be heinous in the least. The guy got what he deserved. The legal system failed her and her daughter. She was justified in taking those actions. I would have done it myself if it happened to me. Except I would have hidden the body where no one would ever find it.
