All of which will be outlawed under a system that looks at women as inferior to a fetus.

Why would that be treating the life of the fetus over the discomfort (even extreme discomfort) of the woman lead you to that conclusion?

I’ll tell you what, lets carve out an exception for that fact pattern just like we can carve out an exception to torture for ticking time bombs and then say no abortions after viability unless the health or life of the mother is at stake?

I don’t support torture under any circumstances. And the child of the rapist isn’t being punished; there is no such child, just an lump of flesh. The person being punished by making abortion illegal is the woman. Raped once already; then essentially raped again for nine months by the state.

Because that’s what you are doing, treating a woman as less than a fetus. As far as I am concerned, outlawing abortion is the moral equivalent of state mandated rape. Worse, if anything since it lasts longer.

IIRC, isn’t that usually the case? Most abortions ARE performed in the first trimester. (Correct me if I’m wrong, anyone)
