Elendil_s_Heir, when I quote to pull the previous answers down, I discovered the numbering doesn’t follow. Is there a way to do that, other than manually going back?

  1. I am not Ansel Adams

  3. ?
  1. ?
  2. ?

Hmm. Well, the numbers appear now. I haven’t had any problem with the numbers continuing to appear when I reply and quote a previous post.

That’s because I copy/pasted into my notes, then went back and added the numbers. shrug The possibility of user error is very high.

Correct on 1 and 2. #3 was Alexander Calder. He looked at Mondrian’s abstract geometric forms and wondered if a sculpture could be made of it. Mondrian was dubious.

2 DQs reserved.

I did not know that about Calder. We have one of his mobiles at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.
