I hope PP won’t mind me saying that I think people are misinterpreting the answer to DQ 15. If I am right with my unrevealed guess, it means the person was born outside the UK but later became a naturalised British citizen, not that he was UK-born but then became a naturalised American (or indeed any other nationality).

I have to say you are very generous in your answers - I didn’t expect you to clarify my last DQ by confirming you were not a singer (I was merely looking to ensure a singer was included for a “yes” answer, or excluded for “no”, to avoid ambiguity), and strictly speaking you didn’t have to reveal you were a conductor. Likewise the part about being a naturalised Briton. It was those key clues that got me there in the end. Nice game, thanks.

Correct on 1 and 2. Terry-Thomas usually played a cad, but he did have a small gap between his two front teeth.
