Yes!! I am John T. Scopes

Famous for the Scopes Monkey Trial, in which I was prosecuted for the crime of violating the Butler Act by teaching evolution in a Tennessee public school. The crime was politically motivated as I deliberately implicated myself with the intention of creating a test case to challenge the law’s constitutionality.
