I will answer the next three earned DQs asked, and then we’ll go to the final round.
Let’s see, Romance languages not covered yet are Portuguese, Romanian, and Catalan. There’s also other non-Romantic nations where a Romance language is an official language, like Switzerland. Holland, Belgium… darn you EH.

I am helping Madame P. with a convention show today through Sunday, so I won’t be around until Sunday night at the earliest.

Right. Discuss amongst yourselves, and please ask all earned “Are you Firstname Lastname?” questions by noon EST Monday.
Well, at least I narrowed it down to Belgium or Switzerland. Still no sure thing on occupation. What did we leave out? Scientist possibly. Religious figure?
Loosely speaking for politics. Could mean a political figure that hasn’t held office, like MLK or Gandhi. Maybe the Swiss L Ron Hubbard?
I have a feeling this person is one who people forget about 99% of the time because they’re overshadowed by a much larger entity, but yes, they were there all along as well.
…Monaco, Alsace-Lorraine, Portugal…
Are you Albert II, abdicated king of Belgium?
I am not.
Only the faintest glimmer of impossible hope for this one:
Are you Abner Peabody Phartucchio, trainer of Lombardy Pudding Elks for the movies?
He’s Sri Lankan and not a native Romance language speaker, as you are well aware, and no.

I’ll start a new thread for April soon.
Ok, another good choice! I heard about him back in January but haven’t heard anything since, so I don’t really feel too bad about missing this one.
Why “loosely speaking” for politics? He seems to have been a career politician, as well as Prime Minister of Portugal. I took “loosely speaking” to mean he had been involved with political issues, but not as an office holder.
“Loosely speaking” as to his current role, which is more administrative and diplomatic than political.
