If they’re from the Executive Branch and not a Cabinet member, that leaves the President and Vice President. None of the living Prezes and VPs have last names beginning with D.

There’s also Press Secretaries, Advisers, etc.

I am not John Dean.

I’ll be out of town and away from computers for the next two days, and will probably next be able to post on Sun. night.

In addition to the exceptions Prof pointed out, I believe that Ambassadors are considered part of the executive branch, as well as some ‘cabinet-level’ positions that aren’t in the cabinet, like the Chief of Staff or the head of the EPA.

Oh, and also I think the VP is considered to be a member of the Cabinet.

DQ: Ambassador?

IQ: Were you Reagan’s Deputy Chief of Staff?

Dunno who this is.

IQs:

  1. Are you a narcoleptic talking rodent with a habit of repetition?
  2. Are you secretly Supergirl?
  3. Did you play the lead in the film version of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat?

Cabinet refers to the Attorney General and all the Secretaries.
Cabinet-level refers to the VP, Chief of Staff, Ambassador to the UN, and officers of trade, budget, national security, drug control, and economic advisers.

IQ: Were you Director of the Office of Management and Budget under George HW Bush?

Well, that will be news to the White House, whose official website indicates that, “The Cabinet includes the Vice President and the heads of 15 executive departments…”

Going to ask any IQs, or is this another drive-by?

Dunno x3.

Ooo, tip of my tongue - the plump guy with the slicked-back hair who gave the “I want my Maypo!” speech - but I can’t quite remember. Take a DQ.
