Who was the first woman to walk in space?
I’m not coming up with a candidate.
I’m thinking the first woman to walk in space was during the shuttle era, maybe Sally Ride, maybe someone whose name doesn’t come to me.
I’m thinking this woman was older than that, and went up recently, perhaps when one of the really famous men went up again.
But I don’t have a name
I’m no help. All I can think of is Mae Jemison.
Last month’s game: Botticelli - April 2026
I’m obviously late to the party.
Hmm. There was a female NASA astronaut who, I think, still holds the American record for the longest time in space (she was aboard the ISS for a very long time), but I can’t remember her name. Maybe it’s her.
Sally Ride… Christy McAuliffe… Katy Perry…
I got nothing.
Judith Resnick, Eileen Collins . . .
Yanks in Spaaaaaaaace!
Most Cumulative Time (Total): Peggy Whitson (675 days).
