I wouldn’t include writing under the heading Visual Arts, but I suppose YMMV…
IQ: Did you write “The Battle Hymn of the Republic”?

I am not Julia Ward Howe.

Could be known for calligraphy, or designs billboards, or a skywriter. Maybe she paints with words.

IQ1: Were you Egon in Ghostbusters?
IQ2: Were you the archetypical bespectacled character in many silent films?
IQ3: Were you a British playwright whose masterwork is considered to be The Homecoming (1965)?

I am not Harold Ramis.
I am not Harold Lloyd.
I am not Harold [pause] Pinter.

No, she’s known as an author.

I’m drawing a blank. I release my earned DQs to other players, one per customer.

IQ1: Did you campaign to make Thanksgiving an American holiday?

It’s also possible she had two distinct artistic achievement sets, one in writing and one in visual arts.

I’m also out of ideas, if anyone wants my two DQs.

Take a DQ.

No, just writing. I consider writing a visual art.

Sarah Josepha Hale

Damn, I thought I had it. Fits with the upcoming holiday and all that.

I think your interpreting writing as a visual art threw the rest of us off. Granted you usually have to see to read, but Wikipediasez: “The visual arts are art forms such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography, video, filmmaking and architecture.” Writing is not included in that description.

Okay, let’s do it this way:

  11. Born before 1900
  12. Did not win a top award in her field, though she received much recognition

So, the quarry is a dead female American author whose last name starts with H and who was born before 1900

one last gasp

IQ: Are you a gossip columnist who once got kicked in the ass by Spencer Tracy?

If that’s not it, then I’m ready for the reveal…

I am not Hedda Hopper. If that’s not it, take a DQ.

Yeah, we’ve never treated writing as a visual art before in Botticelli that I remember.

If it can be presented in braille without any loss of content, I wouldn’t classify it as a visual art.

Okay, I won’t consider writing a visual art again in the game.

Correct.
