I’ve played before, but not in a while - should I ever stumble on a correct answer, I think I will end up giving away a lot of DQs! I assume no Googling for answers is obvious, so I’ve also tried to avoid Googling for questions. Is it permissible to use Google when guessing? For example, in this round, at one stage I thought the answer might be a Kafka character, but not knowing any by name, I looked up a couple of his major works to see if there was a match. Is that sort of thing allowed?
No, you should refrain from all research in playing the game. It’s all about what’s in your head, not your Google skillz. The only exception is that the gamemaster may do research only to ensure that his or her answers are accurate.
