There have been three more programs with super agents, the last two bordering on Captain America-style abilities - increased strength and intelligence, high resistance to pain and fast healing.
My own gripe is minor but consistent - the superhuman response times of law enforcement. I (and at least five neighbors) once reported gunshots outside our building in Chicago and one cruiser showed up about 10 minutes later - and the building was literally TWO BLOCKS from the nearest police station (on Addison). And we got Die Hard-style responses. All of us misheard fireworks, and when one neighbor pointed out we found shell casings we were told they could have been there who knows how long.
In the Bourne films, you can stick your head out the window and yell “Help!” and ten squad cars show up within seconds in every country on the planet except India. He has not once made it out of a building before the police arrived on the street.
