I have a friend who is a dedicated bow hunter – makes his own arrows even and talks about getting the flex-in-flight right. His preference is the longbow because, he says, it is quieter: you might get a good second shot with a longbow, probably not with any other kind.

In the interest of original content for this zombie, around here, crossbows are in the category of firearms not bows, so mostly pointless to use unless you want to intentionally cripple yourself.
