EEK!! How do I destroy the brain cells where those pictures are now stored?
To get a good fit, you need to have the smallest band size that you can wear comfortably and the largest cup size that you can fill completely without going over. When you are bigger, you have more tissue to poke out in unflattering ways, so it is harder to find a style that works. I usually look for bras with more coverage so everything is tucked in. Wider straps and bands don’t dig in as much, in my experience.
They don’t, anymore. They carry nothing above DD – nothing above D in some styles – and have discontinued most if not all bands under 34. I wear a 32D or DD depending on style, which makes Vicky’s totally useless for me. I finally gave up trying to find bras in my size in US department stores that lasted more than a couple of months and didn’t cost an arm and a leg, and now I order them from, honest to Og, a place in New Zealand.
Oddly enough, VS clothing is still a pretty good bet for me. If you’re made of T&A and have trouble finding sweaters that don’t develop odd strain lines across the front, or work pants/skirts that fit your backside without gapping several inches at the waist, you could do worse.
Must be the store and style. I can still find 32DDD in some styles (and other 32 sizes as well). Also, they don’t always stock in store, you can buy it online. And as mentioned, they carry DDD (no more than that, though), which I’ve seen up to 36DDD in some styles. Again, it varies by style. Their measurers are not so good, though. I had one good one and one very poorly one (said I should try a 34D… bwahahahahaa).
I like Vicky’s, and wish Nordstrom were closer to where I live, so I could get their fittings more often (and get their bras as well). I did get fitted once there, and it was magic. The bras were awesome. The bras were also awesomely expensive, and at that point I couldn’t afford them. ![]()
If you know your size in a given brand/style, a good site to order from is
They’re having a big sale right now.
