Don’t forget the MRE’s
I think you’d be better off with one of those Dr. Evil shaped subs for an evil lair. That way you can move it around when the bottom drops out of the world. Plus, doesn’t it have a gold meteor attracting tractor beam you could use to get all the gold you want (plus melt the ice caps, IIRC)?
Man, how many guns do you have?
Call a Chiropractor.

No wait, that’s who, not what.

aren’t the positive job counts simply stats?
The unemployed are not all being counted-just the ones on the list for checks…right?
I really hate stats since it is not based on reality…they didn’t go out and count each and every person unemployed.
Just like the Neilson ratings…did they go out and count 10 million people watching the Trump debates?
and…who was that radio guy from Fox say yesterday about surface to air missiles or whatever they are called falling on major cities in the next few years?
Yeah the US is going in a dump but that’s been going on for years eh?
If they want to get people off the roles they also need to do a bit of snooping for who that cheats the system. They sure seem to care about seniors checking for fraud on their medicare cards so why not promote anti fraud campaign in food stamps and other assistance programs and to make sure the true poor are getting what they need to get going again or just get going!
You could buy a tank but I don’t know if it would be a good investment against the economy tanking.
This is incorrect. Unemployment numbers are based on a sophisticated survey which the Bureau of Labor Statistics conducts on a monthly basis. It does not only count those who are receiving unemployment compensation, but it may not count people who are unemployed but have stopped searching for work. There are, in fact, several different measures of the unemployment rate, some of which are “wider”, and count the “discouraged.”
If survey research is conducted properly, you do not need a census (which is “counting each and every person”) to get a number which is very close to what you would get with a census. It’s not guesswork; it’s sophisticated, well-developed science. (And, yes, it’s the field in which I work.)
Not that many. I’m pretty sure fewer than sixty. It would have to be a 40- or 45-year-old plane.
…is standing at least 1,000 yards away from all you people with all those guns!
When you care enough to send the very best, regardless of how much fuel it guzzles. ![]()
What makes you think this isn’t being done?
I was audited once while collecting unemployment and again while I was on food stamps. That was in addition to the paperwork/interview I had to have every six months to continue receiving food stamps.
There are controls on the programs to prevent fraud.
And with that you’ve earned the tower communication of the day…
*Tower: “Eastern 702, cleared for takeoff, contact Departure on frequency 124.7”
Eastern 702: “Tower, Eastern 702 switching to Departure. By the way, after we lifted off we saw some kind of dead animal on the far end of the runway.”
Tower: “Continental 635, cleared for takeoff behind Eastern 702, contact Departure on frequency 124.7. Did you copy that report from Eastern 702?”
Continental 635: “Continental 635, cleared for takeoff, roger; and yes, we copied Eastern… we’ve already notified our caterers.”*

Now why would anyone buy the actual gold itself. You cant eat it and its only value is if someone really wants it.
Now things like food, gasoline, medications, bandages, feminine hygiene, condoms, spare parts, batteries, weapons, beer… those are the things you would want to stockpile.
Of course there are interviews, I’ve been there done that…doesn’t mean a thing unless the person is honest about their replies.
And you missed what I said about the audit, where I had to produce documentation on their questions? Didn’t they ask you for things like paystubs when you applied? I don’t recall them simply handing out money without asking for proof of poverty, was it different when you were on the program?
Or do you propose a private investigator for each and everyone on the program? Wouldn’t be cost effective, would cost more than what little fraud there is costs.
Also, the Russians invaded us and overthrew the Constitution, the NIH has determined the moon causes cancer, Advil is now more addictive than opiates, coal was banned three years ago even though it is the main reason our children grow up to be big and strong, and the FEMA concentration camps are opening next Labor Day to round up conservatives before the election.
I think we’ve now covered all the fake news that needs covering.
Fertility rates have plummeted throughout the world (which is good because in yr 1920, world population was 1.8 billion and today it is 7.3 billion).
This will be bad for demographics and economy but good for environment preservation.
Domestic economics of rich countries which are open to immigration like USA and European countries will continue to do well. Majority of the rest of the countries including Japan and China are screwed in long term.
Except that those jobs are part time (less than 30 hours/week, so employers do not have to provide insurance). half of those employed make less than $30,000/year.
You must be an apologist for the Obama “Legacy” foundation!
