Good idea. That may be what the authors were thinking. The only problem is that they’re ants, not worms.
Just a heads up to BrainDead fans: It’s moved to Sundays.
And the Sunday afternoon sports on CBS ALWAYS run over in the Eastern and Central timezones. Why the hell can’t CBS just realistically schedule their Sundays? They know the damned golf or football is going to run over.
Anyway, if you are recording BD remember to add an extra hour. And if you miss it, it is available on Amazon Prime 4 days after it airs (free for Prime customers, a small fee for others).
All I’ve seen is an ad, but Danny Pino is a 1974 vintage, so he could be on his second term.
We’ve been watching it - it actually kind of works once you let it.
It’s an odd show for sure - and one I would usually hate (politics), but it seems to nail some things in the same way Idiocracy did - and thats a good thing.
Comcast has it available on demand a couple of days after it runs. That’s how I’ve been watching it.
What does this mean? What’s a 1974 vintage?
And I kind of like it. I hadn’t heard about the change to Sundays, so I missed the episode of July 24 and will have to try to watch it On Demand. I did see it on Sunday July 31 and from that episode now we know why that song is so popular with the aliens. And what’s up with the crop-circle congressional districts?
Loved the song recap to start the episode after Lauren got infected. That was beyond awesome.

Danny Pino was born in 1974, and is currently 42 years old. Meaning not only is not “WAY too young” to be a senator, he’s old enough to be on his second term. (Google says the youngest senator right now is 39, and the second youngest is 41.)
The latest episode of brain dead (episode 11) featured a non hand-shaker, “I don’t shake hands. It’s not personal.”
Also, why isn’t everybody using silicone type ear plugs when they sleep?
Next week is the last episode of the season and apparently they haven’t decided yet if they’re going to renew it.
I’m particularly enjoying the opening songs that recap the previous episodes.
