Provide the next letter in the following series.
K S M S S U …
[symbol]Y[/symbol]?
No.
Why?
See…
C’mon. Nobody has guessed it yet? There’s a logical progression to these letters.
I’m sure there is, JT. But even a logical argument needs axioms. Your puzzle is contextless.
In other words, see if you can solve this puzzle. K G D J 4 …
The next item in sequence is logical.
S S S
Another one like that is J F M A M J J A…what are the next 4 letters? (And I don’t know the answer to the OP. Let me think a while.)
Homebrew
That’s not right for mine. My next sequence would be “1”. (But you might have been guessing JThunders.)
Mirror
Yours is S O N D.
Libertarian wins!
It’s the first letter of the months, if anyone’s wondering.
A similar, and easy, one would be:
S M T W
What are the next three?
T F S
You could probably choose any letter of the alphabet and find some way that it forms a pattern off K S M S S U.
[slight hijack]How about these two series of letters?
AEFHIKLMNTVWXYZ
and
BCDGJOPQRSU[/slight hijack]
Now give the next letter in this series:
T N E S S F F T T O
Z
As most of these types of puzzles are. The key is noticing a pattern to the progression.
And besides, I already provided a clue, which nobody seems to have picked up on.
Really? Can you demonstrate that claim?
Besides, if that were true, then the same could be said of the sequences “J F M A M J J …” and “S M T W…” as well. Perhaps one could fit any old letter into that sequence, but if so, that has yet to be shown.
E.
E? Eeey-iee. No.
