We do it every so often, especially if we’ve had a big lunch.
But the best time for breakfast is at 1 am. That’s why those places stay open all night after all!

My kids love “breakfast for supper”. We do it every couple of weeks.
Eggs, bacon, *yellow *grits and toast. Yummm. Or if we have leftover ham, ham & cheese omelets and hash browns.
hubbynew doesn’t like breakfast for supper, so I don’t do it when he’s home; but there are usually at least two nights a week when he’s out of town, so on those nights I try to serve dinners the kids love, but he’s not wild about. One such dinner is breakfast. I can make multi-grain pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon and the kids are all over it. We really like french toast, too.
We have “breakfast menu” entrées for dinner perhaps a dozen times a year, generally either pancakes or omelets.
But one invariable custom that we’ve done for over twenty years: the Saturday before Easter Sunday, the churches we’ve attended have held an Easter Vigil service in the early evening. (Long explanation about this service skipped, since we’re not in Great Debates.) But in theory though not in practice, the Vigil service is supposed to be before sunrise on Easter Sunday. So when we come home from that service, we have a large breakfast-menu meal that says “it’s Easter” to us.
‘breakfast foods’ are good any time of the day.
i’ve never understood the thought that it’s “icky” or not cool to enjoy pancakes, cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, etc if it’s not the “right” time of day. If it’s good, it’s good, if not, it’s a mental block.
I’ve been known to have breakfast for lunch/dinner every time I eat at Craker Barrel…
MMMmmm! Breakfast cassarole! GOOD EATIN!
Their lunch menu stinks, though.
I LOVE breakfast! I am obsessed with waffles with berries and whipped cream, a any time of day.
In fact I have already told my BF that if we get married we will be serving waffles at the reception.
He got me a waffle maker for our 1 year anniversary
