You could try the Brooklyn Diner on 43rd. It’s pretty good.
Also Velselka on 2nd Ave and 9th is good. It was featured in the film Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist.
I would also recommend Pastis in the Meatpacking District on 9th Ave and Little w 12th for brunch. There might be a wait though.
46 between 7th and 8th Havana Cafe for brunch. Or the 47st diner between 7th and Broadway for cheap, decent eats. Or West Bank Cafe on 42 between 9 and 10th, you’re liable torun into Woody Allen who lives in the building
